Do these taste as good without the peppers. Can’t stand them.

Hi Nicola, these should still taste good without the peppers, as the main flavours come from the spice mix. Let us know what you think if you try it without the peppers.

How long should we boil before taking them out?
Reply
Emma TMonday 23rd September 2019
Hi Rebecca,
You should boil them until they are just starting to soften – this will take around 4-5 minutes depending on the size of your chips ????

I’ve made this recipe twice, whats the reason for the removal of MSG and warming the salt from the recipe?
I found an old screenshot and it’s definitely better with these additions!

Hi Polly,
We’re always updating our recipes to make them as accessible and easy to make for as many people as possible. If you prefer to use the MSG and to warm the salt then that’s great!

Tried these, so delicious! Quick question- are you supposed to allow the salt
Flakes to cool before adding it to everything else? I just chucked mine in and it sort of smoked at bit and stuck together a little. I was able to break it up with my fingers but just wanted to check!

I was wondering if smoked sea salt could be used as an alternative?
